Sleeper Sofas and Small Children: A Deadly Mix

If you have a sleeper sofa in your house you also have a possible health hazard - if you also have small children. Sleeper sofas and small children just don’t mix, especially if you have more than one, and here’s why: when kids get to playing, they will sometimes take the smaller child - who is usually picked on more than anyone else - and toss them into the sleeper sofa, and then try to close up the sofa while the child is still in it! Cases are known where these small children have been injured and even died from suffocation, being trapped inside. So if you have a sleeper sofa, don’t allow your kids to play with it, or open and close it - one of your dear children could be killed.
