Swords for Joe and Cobra?

Rumor has it that the new GI Joe movie will feature swords used by two of their most famous characters: Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. These two are ninjas who trained under the same ninja master but viewed the world very differently. The mute Snake Eyes joined the GI Joe team, while Storm Shadow became a member of Cobra, a terrorist force bent on world domination. It is unclear just how much of a role these characters will play in the film (and if they retain their personalities from the television cartoon or the comic books) I hope to see the swords in action. I know that most Joe fanboys and fangirls have been hoping to see something like this in live action for a number of years. Hopefully Hollywood doesn’t screw it up too bad! We’ll just have to wait until next summer (when the film is scheduled for release) to find out.
